Alcohol doesn’t just kill germs. It dissolves the lipids that hold your skin barrier together. Every use strips a little more, water escapes through the gaps, and the barrier breaks down. For people who sanitize all day, that shows up as dryness, cracking, and irritation. Most sanitizers do nothing to put back what the alcohol takes out.
02Does adding skincare make it less effective at killing germs?
